HOFFs of Smithville, Wayne Co., OH

Am interested in the HOFFs of Smithville, Wayne Co., OH...especially...does anyone happen to know the given name or any other particulars of a HOFF--possibly Jacob--male who married Elizabeth (maiden name?)?
Elizabeth HOFF appeared on the 1850, etc. census, but no spouse was indicated in the household. Perhaps her husband was by that time deceased.
Her household was very near that of a Philip HOFF, whose age would seem to make him a possible brother of her husband.
My estimate would be that Elizabeth's husband {Jacob? HOFF) was born about 1808-1814. His possible brother, Philip HOFF, was born about 1810. Elizabeth was born about 1813 in PA.

Looking forward to hearing from someone!!
