Death of Mrs. Amy ( hoel ) Anderson
Mrs. Amy Anderson, one of the oldest residents of Iroquois county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dora M. Moore, in Woodland IL..
Miss Amy Hoel was born in Hamilton county, on, Feb 24, 1821, and removed to Illinois with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hoel, in the spring of 1835, locating on what is now known as the Old Montgomery farm, about one and one half miles southeast of the present site of the village of Woodland.
