Samuel Hodnett info update

I have just located Samuel Hodnett b:1800 in VA on the 1870 census in Arkansas (the census has his name spelled "Samuel Hognette"). This implies that he died later than what I had thought, sometime between 1870 and 1880 where his widow, Nancy Nunnally Hodnett, is shown living with their youngest child Effie Ballew. Between the 1860 census and 1870 census, it appears that they had daughters named Caroline b: 1829 in AL and Cardine b:1832 in AL. Does anyone have more info on them?

For those who are uncertain about which Samuel Hodnett I am referring to, he is the son of Benjamin Franklin Hodnett and Elizabeth Wyatt Collier.
