Posted by: kay hodgson (ID *****3989) Date: August 22, 2005 at 14:12:50   of 1030 Looking for any info relating to Jonathan Hodgson and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Bell Hodgson who emigrated from Durham England in 1818 along with their children. The ship Horsley Hill sailed from Sunderland, England in April of 1818 and arrived in Canada where they settled in Quebec and later in Ontario. I believe the ship stopped at PEI on the way over, but not sure. His first wife was Elixabeth Emerson who died in Durham England. would appreciate any information available.
