Help! Looking for information about Carlton Hodges
Posted by: Jenny Hodges Riha (ID *****5567) Date: July 12, 2010 at 11:07:29

Hi there. I have recently started researching my genealogy and am completely stuck on my great grandfather. I am told that his name was Carlton Thomas Hodges. Below is the information sent to me by my aunt:

Carlton Thomas Hodges served in the Army during WWI. He was shell shocked and died at age 32 of epilepsy from the mustard gas bomb that exploded near him. His brother, serving with him, pulled him to safety. I remember meeting his cousins from Texas at Grandma Wood's house.

I found him on the 1930 census (wife Ella, son Robert - my grandpa). If anyone can give me any suggestions or help, I'd appreciate it!

Thank you :)
