Here is the Will Of Edward Hodges, He is the Virginia Ancestor of Halifax County VA. of this Tennessee Line.

will of edward hodges
i, edward hodges do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at anytime by me made.
first, i direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that i may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my executor.
secondly, i give and bequeath to my beloved grand daughter elizabeth hodges my yellow filly and fifty dollars that is now in the hands of warham easley.
thirdly, i will and bequeath to fielden hodges all my real and personal estate that i may die seized or possessed of with the exception of one dollar.
fourthly, i will and bequeath to the heirs of james chatten one dollar.
i do hereby nominate and appoint henley hurst my executor in witness whereof i do this my will set my hand and seal, this 5th day of august, 1852.

The Elizabeth that you have a death certificate for is mentioned in this will, as is her Father Fielding Hodges, and James Chatham is her uncle by marriage, married to Susannah Hodges, Fielding's sister.
The Edward that was the undertaker and informant for Elizabeth Hodges death certificate was her brother.
