The Thomas Hodges and Elizabeth you list may be a Brother of my ancestor Fleming Hodges, the son of Thomas and Susannah (Bomar) Hodges. Thomas Hodges the brother of Fleming married twice once to a lady of the last name of Hawkins, and second to a lady with the first name of Elizabeth. They lived in Claiborne County Tennessee, as did Fleming Hodges, and his son Edward Hodges, and Grandson Fielding Hodges with wife Penny Shelton. Edward left a will in Grainger County Tennessee. It is also listed here on the Genealogy Forum. I have not checked Dyer County records and never suspected some of the kinfolks went there. Thank you so, much for all of this information. There was also a daughter Susan Hodges,of Fielding and Penny Shelton that I have been unable to trace.
