Dear Paul--I just saw your posted information on the Hodges in Kentucky and hope we can tie them in with our Hodges since I assume you saw my posting in the Hodges Forum (See #2852 in which I relate the line and my information on the oldest ancestor we know, George W. Hodges and wife Eliza).I believe the answer from Tom Wilbur (see #2907) is most definitely our ancestor. In reference to your list of William G. Hodges and wife Lucinda, what is your source--I am guessing a census book and if so what county state and year is it?
By the way, I was interested in your name Isbell which is most unusual.I have great-grandparents with the name Rounsavall who came to Arkansas from Scottsboro, Alabama about 1870.They came with a family named Isbell also from Alabama and all settled in Prairie County Arkansas. They were cousins and some Isbells still live in the small town of Hazen in Prairie County today. Many of them are buried with the Rounsavalls in a tiny church cemetery at Center
Point Church just outside of Hazen, Arkansas. Please let me know if you are interested in this family.Good luck, Marian Hodges
