I don't know if the following will be a connection to your family, but let's give it a shot. My ancestor is Henry Hodgins born December 18, 1861 in London, Ontario. Father was Henry Hodgins according to the death certificate for Henry (b. 1861), though I don't have a name for his mother. My information states that Henry (b. 1861) moved to the US about 1881. I think his father was from Ireland, though it may have been another generation earlier. Hope this information leads to a connection.
