Does anyone have family from Pickens Co. GA? I have found out recently that the name was changed by some to Hudgins. Maybe through no fault of the family. I am searching for infor on the Hudgeons that show up in the census for Pickens Co. Mainly my line which shows Sarah Hudgeons in the 1870 census, along with three children, Abraham b. 1852, Mary Ann b. 1856, and Catherine b. 1860. I noticed in one of the Mortality Schedules that there was a Jacob Hudgeons, and a Missouri Hudgeons. As best I can tell Missouri was actually a Hodgens.
