Thanks Terry,Here is the additional information that I have.
J.C.(T.C)Hodges married Jennie Elizabeth Crocker (dau of Charles Crocker and Rebecca Curry. They were believed to have married in La.They were listed on the 1870 census in Natchitoches La. with two children, Charlie Lee Hodges b. 1864 in La. and Lillian Lee Hodges b. 1868.Jennie is then found again on the 1880 census married to a Chestnut and they were married in 1875.Charlie Hodges is my ggrandfather and he married Rose Anna Lowrey dau. of Edward Harrison Lowrey.
Charlie's daughter Camie Isabell Hodges claimed to be part Indianand Scotch-Irish with Welch background.
Possible listing for J.C. Hodges on the 1860 census of Bossier Parish as a overseer on Hearn's farm.
This Hodges could possibly had two families, one later in Bossier Parish La. and his children could be the Hodges that started a warehouse business taking supplies up and down the Red River.
Again thanks for the help.Em
