Hello,
Just checking your Randolph County 1850 Census on the Richard Hodge household.
My grandfather is George W. Hodge who lived in Randolph County AR. during his early life. He also had a brother John Hodge, who was younger. If the census was taken every 10 years, They could have been born later in the 10 years, but before 1860. Since it doesn't give their exact birthdates. My George W. married to Isabele Miller in 1877. Records show they were both 17 years old. If this is the same family, there was another son born in the late 1800s, by the name of Conus Hodge. We never knew about any sisters to these brothers. We never knew what our great grandfathers name was, or our grandmothers name, either. George W.& Isabele had 3 children. George Earnest Hodge,Born in 1902,in, or near Jackson County, AR. Died 1962,Herbert Marion Hodge Bn. 3/1/1909 died 1964. Martha Elizabeth Hodge Bn.10/1910 Died 198-? All were raised in Jackson County, AR.
George married Georgia Annie Mae Miller, and had 9 children. Four boys and 4 girls and a baby girl that died at 9mos.
Herbert married Juanita Miller, and had about 12 children. Oldest 2 were twins. All were girls except one.
Martha Elizabeth (Lizzie) married Moses Winfred Sylvester Miller. (Winfred). and had 3 children.
This is just a partial list of names. My great uncles John Hodge and Conus Hodge also had children. If you would like more information. Please email me at:
