Hodders in Timsbury, Dorset & Birmingham

I have traced my branch of the family back to a Thomas Hodder, who was born in Timsbury, Dorset, England in 1836.

He and his wife Lucy (maiden name Keeling) moved to Birmingham, where he rose through the ranks of the police service to become an Inspector. They had 6 children (Thomas William, Emily, Albert, Frank, Elizabeth Alice, & John Henry - who I believe founded a jewellery business).

Any further information would be very welcome.
