Lorna Temlett 7/12/03
Dear Lorna,
Temlett Hockey's ancestor Ann Lydia Temlett married Benjamin Hockey in South Africa in 1843. Benjamin had left Somerset, England bound for New Zealand in 1841 with his brothers William and Charles, but was shipwrecked off Green Point (Cape Province, South Africa) on 14th September and decided to stay, settling in Grahamstown. Temlett has now died, but I may be able to track down contact details for one of his relatives if you'd like to contact me directly.
Best wishes,
Ian Hall (London)
