Phillip Hoggatt b. ca 1687 d. 1-26-1783 age 96 bur Springfield Cemetery near High Point NC. m. Mary Glendenning dau of David of Edinburg Scotland. b. 1-8-1698 d. 11-17-1780 also bur at Springfield. Lived in settlement at Chadsford, Chester Co, PA in early married life, owning land in Ablemarle Co, VA & settled in Guilford Co NA ca 1755. Their Ch were:
1. Philip Jr. b.
2. David b.
3. Jane or Jean b. m. Henry Mayer on 2-19-1756 was a widow in 1763. m. 2nd Elijah Bailey on 2-9-1789.
