My Grandmother is Margaret Ella Hockett Ellis, whom is 91 years of age, she is a decendent of William Hoggatt son of Phillip and Mary Glendenning Hoggatt. Her father was Carl B. Hockett son of Levi Hockett. Her mother was Martha Emma Turner Hockett.

I would like more information about her line of Hocketts and why the name changed from Hoggatt to Hockett. I am creating a nice file of information and the more I have would be great.
