I have been researching my mother-in-law's ancestors. Her great-grandfather was Nathaniel J. Hockaday, born NC 1821 and moved to Gibson County, Tennessee where he died in 1894. His father, Warwick Hockaday married Martha Judkins Est. 1781-1829. I have been looking for information on Lucy Mason to see if I could validate this information. Warwick Hockaday's parents were Warwick Hockaday b. 1764 in Halifax County, Virginia and Mary Shaw born est. 1755 -1791. What the relationships are between Lucy Mason would be of great interest to me also. If I find anything else, I will let you know. Go to the free Ancestry search and look for Warwick Hockaday born 1764 in Halifax!!
