Frances M. and Cassandra Waller were sisters and are the
children of Joseph Waller who died before 1825. Joseph Waller was married three times. His wives were Nancy Minor, Matilda Buckner, and Maria Roy. I believe Maria Roy was the mother of Frances M. and Cassandra. Which wife was the mother is not definite at this point. The girl's Waller grandfather was Benjamin Waller (1740-1830) and they are mentioned in his will. I have a transcription of that on The Waller Connection at
Rootsweb. (http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=justlink&id=I049) The will original did not have commas between the names of Joseph's children so it was difficult to tell where some of the initials went. This grandfather Benjamin Waller is not the Williamsburg lawyer but is a descendant of Edmund Waller who was a brother to the Williamsburg Benjamin Waller. I have very little on Joseph Waller father of the girls. Still looking.
