Do you know what his brothers' names were? I cannot find Joseph in the 1901 UK census.
Phillips, Gladys Irene, born Green Oak, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, 1903 - birth not registered
They married July 4, 1934, Green Oak Colchester County, Nova Scotia
She had to do a delayed registration in 1966 and provide copies to prove her existence.
