I am looking for information on my dad's family. He is Jimmie Lee Hobson, father is Thomas Clifford Hobson and his father was Wilmon Hobson. The only concrete information I've found on Wilmon is that someone by that name was born outside Philadelphia in 1906 and died in '68. He was married to Ruth Mary Jennings briefly until about 1926. I believe he got married after that and had more children, possibly one son named Charles.
While married to Ruth Jennings, they had two children, my grandfather, Thomas and a daughter who died in 1929.
It is possible that Wilmon's father was also named Wilmon and that his mother was Clara, but this information is not definite at this point.
Does anyone have information on this line or even any possible leads? I would really appreciate it.
