I am a descendant of Charles Harrison Hobbs son of Harrison Hobbs. Harrison was born about 1835 in Laurens, S.C. and four of his children were born in Itawambi, MS. His last two were born in Tupelo, Lee Co, MS. Harrison appears in census records in 1870 in Lamar Co., TX. Charles Harrison married 1886 to Millie Frances Foster in Delta Co., TX. In the late 1800's Charles Harrison's family was in Van Zandt County, TX. Sons of Harrison were Charles Harrison, William H., Thomas J., Pleas, James Harley, and Luther O..
