To any who come this way looking for the same family,
The document Janet alluded to was one where William M. Hobbs SOLD the part of the real estate of Samuel Cox, deceased, that his wife, Margaret Cox, now Margaret Hobbs, inherited from her father, to Sophia Daniel for the sum of $200. The deed is dated 23 Feb 1821 and was recorded in Putnam County on page 71 of a deed book, which letter designation I do not know.
