Are you referring to William Hobbs (b. bef 1755) father of David Hobbs (b. abt 1788, Orange County NC)? This David Hobbs married Nancy Williams on 30 Sep 1850 in Orange County, NC. I'd love to compare notes. This David Hobbs is my GGGGrandfather.
