Since you have not had any response, may I suggest that you contact the State Archives and see if they have any telephone books, tax records, etc. for the year before and during the year you were born. Many women at that time moved to another city to have the baby they were going to give up for adoption. The Archives may have a list of who had driver license at the time you were born, voting or poll tax lists.
Sometimes they stayed with relatives. You might do a google search of her name (each name) and see what you find.
Don't give up.I had a neighbor one time that asked me about finding her 9 siblings. Her parents just could not afford to feed anymore children.Of course, birth controlpills had not been invented.
Her adopted parents raised her as an only child and they were very old.I suggested that she check the censusforthe county for people who had 9 or more children at the time she was adopted when the Census records are published.I wish you luck.Jeannine
