Thank you so much for your response. I had just learned the names of my great grandparents when I wrote that request and I have more information now. My Rachel Josephine is actually the daughter of Pleasant Howe Hobbs and his first wife, Catherine Cotter. She was born in 1862 and I guess she was the niece of the Rachel Josephine that you wrote about. I am still a novice at this research so I may not be totally accurate on all my info, but I am relatively positive about what I have so far. She did marry Patrick Julian Henry and they were my grandfather's parents. Does any of this sound right to you? I would appreciate any help you can give me.
