Yes. That’s convincing enough. It’s hard to comprehend from a modern perspective. I
think we could add one or two more to the list but I don’t have that kind of proof.

Do you have any ideas about the origins of the name? (If you can’t trust the spelling and
regional accents vary the sound then it all gets a bit fuzzy, doesn’t it?)
