Yes, Arden Hathaway and Elizabeth Rhoads/Rhoades had a daughter.
Dietta b. abt. 1852 NY (prob. Summerhll area) in 1870 census she was 18 and listed as "Deetie"and a school teacher.
She m. a Clark. I have yet to find out his given name for certian but believe it is Charles C. of CT? or a Clark of MA as Chares Arden' father is listed on some census' as b. MA. Dietta and husband died young but did have a son, Charles Arden Clark, who was 4 in 1880 census. He was raised by his Hathaway grandparents.
He had some affliction that put him in Willard State Hospital. (Insane Asylum) Elizabeth Rhoads Hathaway made provision for her grandson in her will in the event he was released.
Her nephew, Melville Rhoads, was to inherit on condition he was to take care of Charles A. Clark if his release occured. He was still at Willard in 1920 census but listed as a laborer which is a bit confusing.
