Hi researchers of Hore family of Cornwall.

I have a whole tree of HORE. My grandmother was Louisa Mable Hore (married Charles Dalgliesh).
Louisa was daughter of Silas Hore. Silas was Selina's brother and son of Joseph and Miriam.

I have the following information about Selina.
To Ballarat.
1841 census at Mollinos House. 9 years of age
Cornwall on line 1851 Census Project
1861 census online. 29 years. Husband abroad.
From Elizabeth Woods: Selina was the eldest child and married John Bray. She travelled to Australia on the 'Red Jacket' in 1862 with members of her extended family, leaving three children in Cornwall. The two daughters, Gertrude and Miriam travelled with uncle William Hore and his wife Mary on the 'Gresham' in 1863. Son John remained in Cornwall with senior Bray family in Baldhu and is believed to have later travelled to America.
