Jenny - A Jonathon Hoar was one of my forbears. My father is Geoffrey Derwent Hoar, of Midland Junction, Western Australia. I believe Jonathon was my Great Grandfather, and probably settled in Western Australia in a town called Moora. I know that my family had property there, which I believe was lost by my father's uncle, Ray Hoar, during the Depression. I have a living Uncle Jonathon Hoar (known as Jack) and a living Aunt Isabella Smyth (nee Hoar). Unfortunately, my father kept to himself and our family hasn't had much to do with Uncle Jack's since I was a child. However, my sisters (older than me) may have better recollection of our family structure. What sort of information are you seeking ?
