Carmenita, George W. Hixson (1830-1905) who married Tempy (Temperance)Lasater was born and died in Bledsoe Co., TN and is buried in George W. Hixson Cemetery in Bledsoe Co. His son, George W. Hixson, Jr. (1865-1930)is buried there also. I do not have a wife for George W. Jr.
As for the story of the Hixson being killed in front of his family, I would like to have that story because I do not know it, and the Tennessee Hixsons are my family.
Are you thinking that your George W. Hixson was born about 1840-45?
