I am currently looking into William Slagle Hixson b. 08-31-1825 -Highland Co, Ohio and died 05-31-1888 Jasper Co, Iowa. Marr. Phebe Elizabeth Likins. I have a bit on William, himself and the Likins family has posted alot, but I need William's parents, grandparents, etc. I thought his father was Jacob Hixson who also died in Jasper Co, Iowa, but William is not one of his listed children. There are a large number of the Hixsons and family buried in the Slagel Cemetery (aka: Hixson Grove Cemetery) in Jasper Co., Iowa. Thank you for any help.
