I am doing research for my brother-in-law and he has Hixsons from Champaign Co., IL as well. His line is Nathaniel Hixson (b. c1808, PA), then son Thomas Benton Hixson (b. 1842, Indiana), who married Sarilda Sadorus. They moved to Jasper County, Missouri. I have been unable to find much on Thomas Benton Hixson's siblings, including Martha, Tilman, Isabella (married John Dodge), Samuel, Jasper, Cintha, Samantha, and Albert (married Ida unknown, lived in Salt Lake City in 1910). Would love to connect with anyone with info!
