At first I thought that the Hixsons must have been German because they lived in Frederick Co. MD which is a hotbed for Germans and German speaking people. Also, there is the 1808 Bledsoe Co. TN petition that Ephraim signed in GERMAN. However, after discussing this with Anthoy Hixson of England he has assured me that all of the Hixsons are coming out of Britian. So far I have not been able to find any Hixsons coming out of Germany.
