James b 11/23/1826 d 11/08/1903 near Brighton, IA. Step-son of Joseph Frazey & Sitha Hixson m 12/16/1793 in Loudoun Cty, VA. James was supposed given the name of Hixson by a Rev.R.B. Allender who was either a classmate or teacher of James. James' mother reportedly died when James was a baby. We believe his mother may have been a relative of Sitha's and that his original last name may have been Miller. None of Sitha's siblings list a child by the name of James. Any help with James' origins before being adopted by Joseph and Sitha would be greatly appreciated. Kurt
