Hittle of 188 For whatever it's worth: It now appears from documentation that this Benjamin Hittle was indeed a grandson of Susanna Hittel. This Susanna would be the wife of Nicholas Hittel (Susannah Vesqueau). It's sort of a round about way of getting there, but it appears this is reliable information taken from probate records at the time of Susannah's death (ca.1835) in Lehigh County, PA. While I have not personally seen the documentation, it appears to be available through the Lehigh County Historical library. Hope this helps! Joe Notify Administrator about this message?
