I am looking for information on a Mary Hislop born abt 1778 on May 9th and babtised on May 14 ,1778 and she married a John Alexander born Abt 1777 in Scotland. They had a son william Alexander born 1802 in Glenholm ,Peebles Scotland and this may be where Mary was born. I think that Mary and John also had a son Thomas and Maybe a daughter Mary. I know that Mary Hislop's mother was veronica Glengouralyhough the birth certificate looks like spelling Glengous.Her fathers name was Robert. Does anyone have information to share of this family. I thank you.
