Can anyone help with information about the family of my Grandfather John Hirst who was born on 3 Feb 1899. His family were living at 9 Sixth Street, New Crofton, Near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England at the time of his birth. It seems that they had moved away from there by the time of the 1901 UK census.His father may have been named Allan or Allen or similar.My hope is to positively identify his father and then start back.
