Martin The US Census for 1920 shows George living in St. Francois county in Missouri (this is a little ways to the south of St. Louis bordering the Mississippi River.) He is living with his daughter, Helen (age 48), and her husband Richard Doyle (age 57). They have three children living with them, Marie (15), George (12), and William (8). Richard Doyle is shown as a Superintendant for a railroad. Your George never became naturalized as a U. S. citizen and the record shows his daughter Helen as being born in Canada (thus putting George in Canada on 1872. I guess they entered the U. S. via Canada which was fairly common in those days.) If you can't access the U.S. census and want a copy of the census page, let me know. Dick Hirst Notify Administrator about this message?
