Looking for more info about the Hirst's of Barnsley. In the 1881 census, at 35 Dobie st.there are William- age 50, Roseanna- age 50, Richard- age 24, Walter- age 21, Annie- age 19, Thomas- age 17, Martha- age7, William-age 3. Martha Hirst married Abraham Rock in 1894. Any info about this family would be appreciated and will be added to "The Rock Family Website" at:- www.pipcom.com/~cjrock
