Exciting times are ahead for Hiott (and Hyatt) research. I have matched (25 for 25) with 2 different Hyatt lines that seem to track backwards to Maryland's Charles Hyatt of the 1600s. Recently, 2 Hiott men of my county (we have never been able to trace a kinship amongst ourselves) have taken the DNA test. Results should be available in the fall. I think a Hiott in the SC Upstate, perhaps Anderson Co. [?] has also taken the DNA test recently. There will be some interesting things to report soon!
