I have posted a similar message elsewhere but shall also put it here because you appear to be the only direct link to Logan County. I'm not sure if we are seeking the same family, but I'd appreciate any help you can give.
I am interested in information on Hettie Hinton (probably born between 1785 and 1789) and Elizabeth Hinton (born between
1788 and 1790). Elizabeth, at least, was born in Kentucky. I have no proof that Hettie and Elizabeth were even related, but indirect evidence suggests that they were close. Hettie married William Alexander in what was then Logan County in 1806, and Elizabeth married William's cousin Samuel, who
was visiting from Spartanburg County South Carolina or Roane County Tennessee, in Logan in 1808.
