Have you checked the book "The Henson Connection in North
Carolina" compiled by Ethel Nerim Miner?.

* Needham & Lanney had a son named Martin M that married a
Mary Albritton.

* Martin F Henson,father may have been Jesse Old?, Martin
was a Rev.War prisoner, 1781, Kingston, Dobbs Co.NC

There is also an entry where Martin enlisted Jun 1781 in
Kingston,Dobbs,NC as a subst f Jesse,# R5040
