1.2.3.1.1.5.2. George Casper von Schroeppel, died unmarried (drowned at the age of twelve) was the inspiration for the children's story Casper the Friendly Ghost. They changed the family name to McFadden and the Schroeppel mansion into Whipstaff Manor for the story.
