Looking for descendants of Lorenzo W. Hinman, born 1820. He was married 3 times. By his first wife, Lavina Cole, 1824 - 1850, they had 2 sons, Joseph F. 1844 - 1915 and Alurid 1847 - 1885. Lorenzo W.'s sencond wife was Mrs. Malinda Cole. I have found one son, George W. 1854 - 1934. His third wife was Mary Bascom. Children: David Palmer 1871 - 1949, Elizabeth 1873, and Andrew L. 1875. Are there any Hinman relatives in or around Switzerland County who can help me out? I am wanting to connect this family line. Who were Lorenzo's parents?(By the 1880 census, father born in NY and mother in NJ). Did Lorenzo W. have anyother children? Would appreciate any info on the Hinman family. I am hoping to visit Switzerland County this summer. So let me know the places I should go and the people I should contact. Would like to meet any Hinman relatives while visiting. Thank you.
