My greatgrandfather's brother was named LeRoy Hinman Johnson. He was born in Vershire, Thetford, or Post Mills in Orange County Vermont about 1855. He died in New Haven, CT sometime after 1930. His father was Thomas Johnson who was also born in the same area in Vermont, and his mother was Louisa Jane Howard who was born in Belchertown, MA. This is the first time that I have encountered the Hinman name. I'm hoping it might provide me with a clue to Louisa Jane's maternal ancestors. Her mother's name was Eunice Wright. Beyond that I know nothing. Any information or thoughts on this would be appreciated.
