Some census information for the John Hinkle of Hesse, Germany to Johnstown, Pa. I am working on a book regarding this family. I have other information, if anyone has roots to this family and would like some input. There is much information that I don't have. There is another family of Hinkles in this area also. Would like to hear from you. The other family is Augustus Hinkle of Germany. This family has spelled their name "Hinkle, Hinkel, and other spellings. They came over around 1854 to the Cambria County Area of Pennsylvania. Descendants still can be found in the Johnstown area.
