Thank you Gret for posting. If we could get others interested and willing to share, we could fill in what is missing. There is so much still missing in my research although I have been working on it for so many years.

I researched the Woodring's of a branch of your same Woodring's and wrote a booklet "North Carolina Woodring's" in the NC Archives. The branch I researched moved to Lincoln Co, NC. then across the state to what was then, (Jacob Woodring, murdered by the Indians there) Haywood Co, NC, then descendants to Macon Co, NC and Jackson Co, NC. before moving to Oklahoma. You are probably aware of the two Woodring books of the early Woodring's that LDS has.
