I see that I got carried away with the ancestors of Herr George Henckel. According to Nedra Dickson Brill we can't prove who Herr George Henckel's parents were.
Dr. Burt Brown Barker, LL.D. President, Henckel Familly Association, went to Germany several times trying to locate Henckel records that later were in THE HENCKEL GENEALOGY 1500-1960 Ancestry and Descendants of Reverend Anthony Jacob Henckel 1668-1728 compiled by William Sumner Junkin, Minnie Wyatt Junkin, published 1964 and in the follow-ups: HENCKEL FAMILY REPORT and research in THE HENCKEL GENEALOGY BULLETIN, of Herr George Henckel and Reverend Anthony Jacob Henckel and wife Maria Elizabeth Dentzer.

The marriage of George Henckel was found at Watzenborn, a suburb of Giessen (Hesse) for the Steinmerk (Steinberg) records by Dr. Brown and a German researcher as reported in the history of Mehrenberg (near Weilberg). George Henckel's children were all born Mehrenberg.
Dr. Brown also found the records of Anthony Jacob Henckel in Daudenzell 1695-1714. Karlsruhe has an archives building that contains the records of all the churches where Anthony Jacob Henckel had been.
THE HENKEL GENEALOGY page 23:
Matthias Henckel born about 1605 at Allendorf-ad-Lumbda in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany "has been given credence as the father of Herr George Henckel, the preceptor:"...the father of Matthias Henckel was a Caspar Henckel also of Allendorf-ad-Lumbda...born 1576; and died March 2, 1651..."This apparently identifies the great-grandfather of Reverend Anthony Jacob Henckel." is commented on by the Junkins on page 23 and and that a preceding generation of this family "a Ludwig Henckel was found who was born about 1535 and in the next preceding generation an Anthony Henckel who was born about 1500 A.D." Apparently this research was accepted by the officers of the National Henckel Family Association at the time the book was published.
