The information I have was done by Melville Schmoyer historian and genealogist in 1949. From Peter Hinkle forward I believe it is somewhat correct. THE BIG CONFUSION IS THE LISTING OF PETERS PARENTS AS ANTHONY AND ANNA MARGARETEHA. The Peter from whom I am dscended has a Peter 2 by it and Chestnut Hill. Nowhere do I see this Peter with descendents that agree with my list. Yet he is listed as one of Anthony's chidlren. I know our family remained in Pa. -Chestnut Hill and did not come to North Carolina. Help clarify. Who are Peters Parents? This is what I have. Peter Hinkle -1735 - April 29, 1802-Married to Elizabeth born July 11, 1734 and died September 12, 1806. In St. Michaels book Elizabeth's bural is documented but I don't see Peters. I have a note that he lived in a stone house on merrimaid lane. Will probated May 16, 1802 Box Y, No. 42. p. 512 Children David b. Nov. 13 1768 -Chestnut Hill- d.April 29, 1827 John Henry b.
