I just received my copy of the "Henckel Genealogical Bulletin", A Research Compendium ISSN 0739 6341 Hinkle Henkel Henkle

The Henckel Genealogical Bulletin is a publication for corrections and additions to THE HENCKEL GENEALOGY (1964), Junkin and Junkin 1447 pages about Rev. Anthony Jacob Henckel and his descendants who came from upper Hesse.
In the "Henckel Genealogical Bulletin" volume 39, Number 1 Whole Number 77 Nedra Dickman Brill, a certified genealogist, parlimentarian for Oregon D.A.R., sponsor for the Hessian soldier web page <http://freepages.military.rootsweb.com/~bonsteinandgilpin/a/amhessians10.htm> (remove the < >), and Nedra keeps up with the annual reunion of The Rev. Anthony Jacob Henckel Family National Association, Inc. Reunions. This years Reunion is in Winchester, VA June 13-15, 2008).

Nedra has been working with these Henckels by whatever spellings for many years. She decided to devote this entire Spring 2008 Henckel Genealogical Bulletin to the 11 distinct men named Phillip Henckel in 18th century Pennsylvania and nearby New Jersey because they have become intertwined with Rev. Anthony Jacob Henckel's descendants. She has based her decisions by documentations which she cites for each one.

Philip Hinckel, born Ruedigheim, Hessian a/k/a Philip Hinkel. His wife Catharine Metler. Census: 1790 Bern Twp, Berks Co, PA; 1800 Northampton Co, PA (Penn Twp); 1810 Northampton Co, PA (Lausanne Twp); 1820 Northampton Co, PA (Lausanne Twp) prob in hh of George Henkle, male 80-90, female 70-80. Children were Maria, Valentine, Catherine, Philip, Jacob, Daniel, George, Christian.
Philip Hinckel, Jr. (son of Philip Hinckel and Catharine Metler) wife Hannah Wetzel and their family. Lived Packer Twp., Carbon Co, PA.
Philipp Hinckel, born Massenheim (now Bad Vilbel, Germany), Hessian Soldier, deserted.
